Actually I needed to join the irc. The irc is 'linuxfromscratch.org'. But got no idea. So got to know If anybody can help me with it. I am to use Pidgin in Ubuntu2.6 Gamer's edition. And haven't registered account. Need to get how I can get one account to...

Ubuntu 10.10

I have installed ubuntu10.10 on three laptops.One on mine....and other two on my friends. I installed it by WUBI from windows. It works fine on mine laptop.But on other two laptops, out of 4 partitions, only three are shown. The other two laptops are of DELL and Acer. Any Solution! please......

How to mount a dmg[apple image] in ubuntu

hie noskians, i am getting some problem this mounting issue, first i am confused mounting .dmg file in UBUNTU and more over while mounting normal iso using mount -o loop /<path>.isoi got a problem tellingno <path.iso> entry in /etc/fstabsud i edit fstab??i already hav made a directory "iso" in /media.

Help in APT connection

I have recently installed Ubuntu Ultimate 2.4 Gamers' Edition. While installation the process seemed like being stuck in step of scanning repositories. As it is based on Jaunty Jackalope (Ubuntu 9.04) so it must get the archive from Nepal.

I ignored the problem that time but now whenever I try to download a package via APT-GET or Synaptic it shows me errors.

What am I supposed to do now.
