This is a topic on vanilla kernel 2.4.21 kernel compilation. I just got through it and started. make config and make dep went fine. But when I started make bzImage it went to an error at last Error(1): init/main.o line number 357 I tried many times. I don't think there is any problem in the config cause I just used oldconfig. I tried lots of times with all configuration in recommended configuration and also in the configuration best if not decided but the error repeated. Need help????
