Brushes are heartbeat for designers. Photoshop CS5 and Windows 7 together make a damn confusing mess on custom brushes. In CS4-, any one can easily add custom brushes [.abr] to their brush preset by just pasting them in [Adobe Photoshop]>Preset>Brushes. But in CS5 this could be a hair pulling experience! The files gets pasted in the Brushed Folder but you cant see them there! nor you can find it in ur brushes! if u paste again, it prompts for Overwrite, and after Overwrite its again the same! this bugged my brain for weeks! i tried all from clearing preferences to manual boot of Photoshop. I even digged into Google and found nothing! I was really amazed when this was solved on my own. You too will not belive that the solution is that simple.

Reset Brushes from the [>] arrow option button of your brushes Panel! and re-paste the brushes in Brushes Folder! and its done!!

no windows 7 permission settings! simple as in open source!!!
