IBM to run IT park In Nepal..............

International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) has set up its research centre at Dhulikhel-based Information Technology (IT) Park.
Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, also the chairman of Information Technology High Level Commission, inaugurated the centre on Friday. IBM’s undertaking is expected to drive away idleness inside the park that has remained unoccupied and unused for years.
IBM has employed eight researchers at its Open Standard Research Centre. They will research and develop new softwares that can be used for business.
The government had built the IT Park six years ago with the aim of promoting the IT sector. It had, however, failed to make use of this Rs. 270 million facility.
